The Beautiful Way

Blessed are the poor in spirit. Blessed are those who mourn. Blessed are the meek.

When Jesus sat down on a hillside and began describing life in His kingdom, nobody expected this list. It's upside down. It blesses the people the world overlooks: the empty, the grieving, the ones hungry for something more. And the longer you sit with it, the more beautiful it becomes.

Starting October 18, we'll walk through the Beatitudes in Matthew 5, one at a time. This isn't a list of rules to try harder at. It's an invitation into the way Jesus lives, and the life He calls blessed.
