Serving at Lighthouse is about more than filling a position. It is one of the ways we grow as disciples of Jesus, build meaningful relationships, discover our gifts, and help light up the world with the good news of Jesus and good works.
When you serve at Lighthouse, you are not being handed a job to do alone. You are joining a team. Our serve teams are led by ministry leaders who provide guidance, encouragement, training, and mentorship as we serve together.
Why We Serve
We do not serve because the church simply needs workers. We serve because Jesus first served us.
At Lighthouse, serving is part of discipleship. We believe God forms us as we worship together, learn together, pray together, and serve together. Some of the most meaningful spiritual growth happens while serving alongside others.
As we welcome guests, teach children, prepare rooms, run sound, lead worship, pray with people, care for families, maintain facilities, and serve our community, God uses those moments to shape us into the image of Christ.
Serving is not just something we do for the church. It is one of the ways God grows us within the church.
What to Expect
Completing the Serve Team Interest Form does not commit you to a specific ministry. It simply begins a conversation.
After you submit the form, a pastor or ministry leader will follow up with you to talk about your spiritual journey, availability, interests, gifts, and next steps. Some ministries may require additional training, interviews, references, or approval before serving.
For ministries involving children, youth, vulnerable individuals, finances, or other areas of trust, Lighthouse requires a criminal background check. By submitting the interest form, you understand that you may be asked to complete and sign a separate background check authorization before serving in those areas.

Welcome Team, guest follow-up, hospitality, coffee, meals, and event support.
Children & Youth
Nursery, children’s ministry, classroom support, youth ministry, and family events.
Worship & Media
Worship team, sound, slides, livestream, photography, and media support.
Care & Prayer
Prayer team, care ministry, meal support, encouragement, and follow-up.
Operations & Support
Office help, administration, communication, setup, cleanup, and organization.
Facilities & Projects
Cleaning, maintenance, work days, repairs, landscaping, and property improvement projects.
Outreach & Community
Community events, service projects, local outreach, and practical help for our neighbors.
