Empowered

Empowered: Life in the Spirit

Summer Sermon Series

June 28 – August 16 2026

The Christian life was never meant to be lived in our own strength.

Jesus promised that His followers would be filled with the Holy Spirit—not simply to have extraordinary experiences, but to become ordinary people who live extraordinary lives for the Kingdom of God.

This summer, we are journeying through the book of Acts to see how the Holy Spirit empowered the early church to wait, receive, become, witness, endure, go, and keep walking with Jesus.

Along the way, we’ll discover how the Spirit transforms fearful people into faithful witnesses, forms a generous and compassionate community, empowers us to endure hardship, sends us across every barrier with the good news of Jesus, and leads us in everyday life.

The same Spirit who empowered the early church is still empowering His people today.

Because God’s mission has always been accomplished by ordinary people empowered by an extraordinary God.

The Journey

Wait → Receive → Become → Witness → Endure → Go → Keep Walking
